Directory of iCop members
(My site is listed under "Marketing/Promotions (A-D)")

iCop has really started cracking down on members that fail to live up to the ethical standards established. There has been a move away from many Internet Marketers because of too much hype and not enough support. There have been a new more stringent and updated set of rules for becoming a member. I'm glad to report that I'm still a member and plan to remain one.

New Info About Site

I have joined with previous members in a few other ventures and now find it difficult to find time to keep this site updated.
This creates a unique situation that I find difficult to resolve because of past and new relationships. Continuation of this site may or may not be of benefit to others in today's world. I would like to maintain this site for beginners but I just no longer have the time to maintain it. My costs have increased over the years and now run around $600 per year. I had always paid for it with affiliate sales of good products; but now I just don't have the time to continue evaluating and promoting those products.

Some members have suggested I put a donation button on the site to pay for costs. I would consider this, but that doesn't resolve my time problems for updating, and without new information and products being added; why would anyone want to visit. I would like to find someone starting out that would be willing to work out an agreement for adding legal information and products to this site. I would create training material for a qualified person to expedite their learning curve. I would also furnish the material and products that could be given or sold and would allow that persons name to be added to the site as a partner.

Use contact details at the bottom of page if you are interested.

My Goal

I figure that if I can get you to making enough money, you will have more of it to spend with me. That seems like a good trade off from my position and it keeps me looking for the best products at the least cost. Offering a quality product at a reasonable price and making money is the key to succeeding on the Internet. Creating long lasting relationships with satisfying results for all involved is the best practice to follow.

I am still a newbie at some aspects of marketing, but have quite a lot of experience in other areas. Some of our members are experts in other areas and have agreed to help me through some of my weaker areas. Let us help You!

This site was developed to help YOU get started as quickly and cheaply as possible by providing marketing strategies. Some have already reached their initial goals and adjusted them higher. They are asking for more detailed information about specific areas of marketing.

For this reason, I am also developing a paid membership site offering tutorials and products to help automate and better monetize their websites. Costs vary based upon the needs required. If you are interested in this service please contact me.

Last Update: Sep 8, 2009

See "Latest News" page for additional marketing strategy updated materials on DJ's website. I don't send email like everyone else; anything I promote will be on this site...Darell

You probably should save "DJ's Fast Start Marketing Stategies" to your favorites folder and come back often. I don't send out email very often, if at all, and people have a tendency to forget my sites domain name and have trouble finding it again... There's just to much spam and I know I don't like it; so you probably don't either; and most newsletters and email are real close to spam. The main difference is you opted in to receive it. That hasn't and won't happen on this site; I only give the numbers of subscribers for leverage to reduce product costs. I don't give out email addresses for any reason. Thanks, Darell

DJ's Data Exchange is being updated almost daily. (Members Only)

What happened to updates?

Lack of activity has decreased the value of this area and I have pretty well lost interest in updating it. It is still possible for members to advertise their products or web sites on the page since some still view the pages.

I am still seeing new subscribers added to my list but the requests for information have been a lot less lately. I am aware that the subscription process has been acting up lately and for some reason I haven't been able to track down the problem. Please contact me Here if you have problems in the process. It would help if you could explain what if anything you received.

Upon signing up you should receive:

A confirmation email with a link you need to click (first step in double opt in system).

After clicking on the link in that email, you should receive a "Thank You" email with your passwords for obtaining free information and products.

This site was established in June 2004 to help beginners (newbies) find information on how to "make money on the Internet". It should help give you a "fast start" by using Marketing Strategies for making money on the Internet.

     1. It's not as easy as most will try to make you believe. It still requires effort and a willingness to learn and work on your part. Since I said that, there are more people making more money on the Internet today than ever before.

2. It doesn't need to cost you an arm and a leg to get started. We try to leverage our purchases to help reduce costs. Products are being improved upon everyday and it’s almost impossible to keep up with everything being offered. Many initial products are free; by allowing the developer to offer affiliate links within the product since they make commission on sales. Use those to learn, not buy...

    3. A larger membership has better leverage to negotiate costs and rights to products. The larger membership also allows YOU to reach a bigger audience; usually meaning more sales. Double opt in is common practice and almost a necessity for webmasters.< ? from SPACECE since can spam? law was put in place. protects webmaster host accused of spamming being shut down. It will be worth if it helps you ?

     4. This site has been in existence for around 5 years and many have benefited from the use of the site. Several subscribers have surpassed me in "money being made on the Internet". Many also offer help to me and others that are using marketing strategies in an attempt to succeed. Using available resources that are free or low cost is just a smart way of saving time and money. Asking for help is free and will almost always be in your best interest. Few marketers make it without having a mentor or someone willing to help. Remember, it's a two way street and the "What's In It For Me" will always be there where business is concerned.

5.
Making money on the Internet using marketing strategies is much easier accomplished if you have a mentor to help you over the hard places. You will never have 100% success with every product but don't let that discourage you. As you learn and apply more marketing strategies and better methods you will begin seeing sales and success. It's kind of a step by step process but it is possible; just not over night very often.

6.
Use this website to gain valuable insight into the various skills and marketing strategies needed to make money on the Internet. It won't cost you an arm and a leg to get you started; because we hold costs down at a time that most don't have a lot of start up money. We aim to help give you a fast start using marketing  strategy and allow you to start making money on the Internet faster.

marketing problem  Is this YOU?  marketing nightmare

  • Have you ever read for an hour trying to get through all the hype and testimonials?  ...and then been disappointed at the cost.

Hasn't everybody.  All ready wanted it, didn't you?

Guess, that's what makes it good sales copy.

I've learned to go to the bottom of the page, or close to it, and check the price before reading all the hype. Most good sales letters use another little trick; all the subheadings will create a good outline of benefits. They know some of us skim as we head for the bottom of the page and they get their main points stressed.

  • Was the product worth the price? ...or just the same old...

I have purchased and read most everything on the market for the last few years. Check here before buying. I used to buy based upon the sales letter (hype). I know I'm getting smarter, I'm not wasting money buying everything offered. I visit some good forums now, and they help in decision making process and creating better marketing strategies. Now, when I buy, the product  must accomplish a specific need. Added value, time, or money savings. I still buy a lot of products, so I can review them. Products have to be pretty bad before I write review. I do try and answer email and forum questions for specific products. Time has been a problem in the last few months and my offline consulting work has been at an all time high. Hope some members have been helping members.

  • Does your opt-in newsletters give you valuable information, or is it just another set of advertisements to sell something?

It looks to me, as if, about 80% of newsletters or more are into affiliate sales (close to spam). Probably depends more on whose newsletter. I have quit wasting time reading free email relating to marketing strategies. The remaining few give good value and content. Those will be worth every penny they cost; and you get value added information as well as time savings.

I still receive email from some even after opting out. Spammers try all kinds of ways to capture your email address. They will get it, if your not very careful. The law abiding ones that you gave your email address will honor your  request for removal.

  • Does the newsletter have nothing but affiliate links?   ...good old commissions without giving anything of value.

I would guess around 80% of those newsletters don't last long in my inbox. I just use message rules to block and delete. If, they keep sending, I report them even though I may have initially signed up with them. I have 5 newsletters that I read regularly and most, I pay for the priviledge of reading.

You're just a few minutes and a click away from HELP, and possible solution to these problems. I am asking your help in resolving problems for accomplishing our task of leveraging product costs for products related to marketing strategies. No one, can know everything there is to know about marketing on the Internet and I could use YOUR help by joining. You will not receive an email from me other than initially for double opt in as a subscriber. I hate spam and most emails from web sites is nothing more than that. I do on occassion send email to a few members usually in response to questions, or problems. Otherwise, you have to read it here, the reason I asked you to bookmark my site up front.

The Help offered here in Fast Start Marketing Strategies, can increase your productivity, if everyone will work together. There have been many people helped using good forums. If people aren't afraid to exchange data, by asking questions, and responding. There are many that like to help, and will help if asked, but you still have to do the work.

Tip:

Most spam will <>be from someplace you didn't subscribe to yourself (Spammers also use the unsubscribe links to confirm your email address). Don't respond to anything, you did not request. Spammers are trying to confirm your email address by using a requirement for legitimate marketers.

I go one step more, and create a dummy email address at one of my sites, or trough a free email service. Then when asked for my email address I use the dummy until I'm convinced the info received isn't spam.

< to>

I have asked for more info than most, leveraging requires more location data some times for the best results. It depends on the product. I hate "spam" as much, or more than anyone else, and will never sell, share, or give the information provided here to anyone, or any third party without first consulting you.

I have had some feedback recently that the process didn't work and I'm looking into it. If, you have problems please CLICK HERE and give me a heads up.
