Something New but it costs a little more
I buy a lot of products each month and am always on the lookout for new ways of finding the latest products. This site also lets members request products and always seems to get really good deals and almost always with Master Resale Rights (MRR). New products are added all the time. Check it out; click on the banner; it is an affiliate site for me, but it helps pay for this website.
I particularly like the $1 sales some are great time savers, and others have MRR. I can then offer the products at a much reduced price. The only problem I have at times is that even MRR and PLR products have requirements that doesn't allow me to give them away. This creates the need for a paid membership site; they usually don't qualify the amount for the membership. I am in the process of creating a paid membership site with 3 levels; $1 for personal use products, $2 for resale rights products and $3 for master resale rights.
Let me know what you think of the idea. I will probably end up creating some competition by stating my intentions on the website. It should be good for members as it could lead to more competitive pricing of future products. Of course, I'm giving you an opportunity to grab one of my resources and be a competitor.
My InstantBuzz toolbar is back up and working and I have begun seeing an increase in visitors again. The problem was on my end; I can't believe I did this to myself. I had turned their toolbar off in my browser. updated Apr 2006.
My toolbar for InstantBuzz had stopped working and the troubleshooting link didn't work either. My toolbar had been down for sometime. I hate to think how many visitors I missed...Darell

I have had great success with hits and signups using this system.
Received over 150,000 hits and 330 signups from them since I first started this website. I don't really know the stats as of now; I just know it works. Every bit of traffic helps.
Nothing really great but every little bit helps. I think of all the various freebies I've tried, this has worked the best. I've done a LOT worse.
Click on the pop up in upper right corner, it will help you and me, if you click on it, and sign up. Make sure you have something to advertise, then do it. Does real good for opt-in list building.

I'm still getting hits and subscribers and I haven't had time to promote. I can honestly say I have received lots of hits and subscribers without any real cost; just the time to fill out the information. Don't make the mistake I made and turn the toolbar off in the browser.

Listen, I've tried this out myself - it's so easy and so effective, it would be pretty dumb not to use it immediately. Anything that can give you free subscribers for virtually zero effort is worth a try - and this system can give you lots of those.

Here is something else that works. I started a blog a few weeks back; basically for testing what I was being told about SEO (search engine optimization). My log has indicated that several search engines bots are visiting on a daily basis. Some several times a day. Here is the link to it: http://marketinghelp.blogspot.com/
I use it to answer common questions, that I receive in email. I am sorry to say I have been to busy to keep up with the blogging and it shows in the number of visitors to this site. Each time I add content to the blog, and ping, it notifies the search engine that new data was added and it follows the links.
This is another winner, I know I've been visited by all the major search engines; this is on a daily basis. About once a week; some look at all the pages on this site. Others do it daily. I wasn't being visited nearly as often before starting the blog. 6/28/2006
iCop has turned out to be another traffic generator, it seems their directory is listed in several locations. I have been receiving significant traffic with iCop as the referrer during the time I've been a member. Going on 3 years now, it's a good organization many guru's belong.

Something else that works. Create a sig file (a line or two of info about your website) include it on email, and on posts to forums include your URL (http://ebooklisting .net) is mine.
Join in on forum discussions, don't blatantly advertise, but most forums allow sig files at the end of post. Check the forums and see if everyone else is doing the same thing; if they are you can too.
If you can help people solve a problems. They tend to begin thinking of you as an expert. One of the best things that can happen for you is recognition for your knowledge. It's also a good way to get testimonials. I usually work on 3 or 4 forums during the week and it pays off in the long run. It's a good way to get name recognition and some more visitors.
